• 48 to 72 hours before departure — 10 percent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less the 10 percent deduction.
• 24 to 48 hours before departure — 25 percent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less the 25 percent deduction.
• 12 to 24 hours before departure — 50 percent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less the 50 percent deduction.
• Less than 12 hours before departure — 75 percent of the total trip fare. Minimal or no refund depending on trip value.
• No-show, where the vehicle is deployed and the group is absent — 100 percent of the total trip fare. No refund. The full fare is payable.
• Cancellation by Tejas Travels due to breakdown or force majeure — No cancellation charge. 100 percent refunded within 2 working days, or an alternate vehicle is offered.

• Multi-day outstation hire including Varanga, Karkala, Agumbe, Udupi and Sringeri circuits — minimum 5-day notice for a full refund on overnight or multi-day tempo traveller hire from Bangalore.
• Weddings — minimum 7-day notice for a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days of the wedding date are non-refundable.
• Peak dates — New Year, Diwali, Dasara, the Varanga Rathotsava and Bangalore long weekends require a minimum 48-hour notice for a full refund. Less than 24 hours is non-refundable.
• Force majeure — Bangalore bandhs, monsoon closures on Charmadi or Shiradi Ghat, landslides and road closures attract a 100 percent refund within 2 working days regardless of notice period.
• Modifications — date changes, seating variant changes and route additions with more than 24 hours notice are accommodated at no penalty, subject to availability.
