At Tejas Tours & Travels, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be simple, transparent, and fair for all customers across Bangalore and Mysore. Please read the following carefully before making your booking.

Free Cancellation Window

You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without any cancellation charges — for all services including cabs, tempo travellers, mini buses, and buses in Bangalore and Mysore.

Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Pick-Up

If cancellation or shortening of the trip is requested within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, the following rules apply:

Multi-Day Trip: The charge for the first day will be deducted from the total amount. The balance will be refunded to the customer within 5 to 7 working days.
Single Day Trip (Local or Outstation): No refund will be issued for single-day trip cancellations made within 24 hours of pick-up.
Airport Transfer: No cancellation charges apply if the booking is cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the airport pick-up time will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.

Cancellation Charges by Timing

More than 24 hours before journey: 0% cancellation charge — full refund issued.
Within 24 hours of journey (multi-day trip): First day charge deducted — balance refunded.
Within 24 hours of journey (single day trip): 100% cancellation charge — no refund.
Airport transfer cancelled 2+ hours before pick-up: 0% cancellation charge — full refund.
Airport transfer cancelled within 2 hours of pick-up: 100% cancellation charge — no refund.
No-show (customer does not arrive): 100% cancellation charge — no refund.

Special Conditions

Wedding and Event Bookings: Cancellations for vehicles booked for weddings, functions, or special events in Bangalore are subject to a minimum 50% charge regardless of notice period, due to vehicle reservation requirements.

Peak Season Trips: Cancellations during Bangalore and Mysore peak seasons — including Dasara, New Year, summer holidays, and long weekends — may attract higher cancellation charges. Any such variation will be communicated at the time of booking.

Multi-Day Outstation Trips: For trips to Coorg, Ooty, Goa, Tirupati, or other outstation destinations, cancellations made after the journey has commenced will be charged for all days already travelled.

Company-Led Cancellations

If Tejas Tours & Travels cancels your trip for any reason, a full refund will be processed within 3 to 4 working days. You may also choose to apply the booking amount towards an alternative trip or future booking.

If the booked vehicle is unavailable on your confirmed date, a full refund will be processed within 2 to 3 working days.

Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund under this policy, the amount will be remitted to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

Refunds are processed for:

UPI payments — refund to original UPI account
Credit/Debit card payments — refund to original card
Net banking payments — refund to original bank account
Cash payments — refund via bank transfer (account details required)
