Step 3 — Confirm Your Booking and Pay Advance

•      More than 72 hours before departure — No cancellation charge. 100 per cent of the advance is refunded within 5 to 7 working days.

•      48 to 72 hours before departure — 10 per cent of the total trip fare is charged. Advance refunded less the 10 per cent deduction.

•      24 to 48 hours before departure — 25 per cent of the total trip fare is charged. Advance refunded less the 25 per cent deduction.

•      12 to 24 hours before departure — 50 per cent of the total trip fare is charged. Advance refunded less the 50 per cent deduction.

•      Less than 12 hours before departure — 75 per cent of the total trip fare is charged. Minimal or no refund depending on trip value.

•      No-show, vehicle deployed and client absent — 100 per cent of the total trip fare is payable. No refund.

•      Cancellation by Tejas Travels due to breakdown or force majeure — No charge. 100 per cent refunded within 2 working days, or a substitute vehicle is offered.

Special Cancellation Conditions

•      Weddings — For Bangalore wedding hire, a minimum 7-day notice is required for a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days of the wedding date are non-refundable.

•      Luxury vehicles — Minimum 5-day notice for a full refund, due to limited Bangalore fleet availability and wedding season demand.

•      Peak dates — The March to May sighting season, long weekends, Dasara and the year-end holidays require a minimum 48-hour notice for a full refund. Less than 24 hours is non-refundable.

•      Safari and resort cancellations — Forest Department and resort cancellation terms are separate from ours and outside our control. Safaris can also be cancelled at short notice for weather or operational reasons. Cancelling a safari does not automatically cancel your vehicle booking; tell us directly.

•      Force majeure — Bangalore bandhs, monsoon suspension of safaris, forest or fire-season closures, road closures and traffic disruptions: 100 per cent refund within 2 working days regardless of notice period.

•      Modifications — Date changes, vehicle upgrades and route additions with more than 24 hours notice are accommodated at no penalty, subject to availability. A change of gate is effectively a change of route, so give as much notice as you can.

All refunds are processed to the original payment instrument. No cash refund is issued unless the advance was paid in cash.

•      Trip shortfall where actual kilometres are less than the minimum — Proportional credit on the excess, settled at trip end.

•      Billing error or overcharge — Full overcharged amount, within 2 to 3 working days after verification.
