This was Tipu Sultan seat of power and the site of the fourth Anglo-Mysore War in 1799. The Ranganathaswamy temple is one of the oldest and largest Vaishnavite temples in the state, Daria Daulat Bagh is Tipu summer palace with its painted teak walls, and the Gumbaz holds the tombs of Tipu and Hyder Ali. The dungeon where British officers were held is a short walk from the fort wall. For a group, ninety minutes covers the essentials comfortably; two hours if you want to do the temple properly. Special Cancellation Conditions
• Weddings: a minimum of seven days notice is required for a full refund. Cancellations within three days of the wedding date are non-refundable.
• Luxury cars: the Rolls-Royce, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class require a minimum of five days notice for a full refund, because of limited Bangalore fleet availability and wedding season demand.
• Peak dates: New Year, Diwali and Bangalore long weekends require a minimum of forty eight hours notice for a full refund. Less than twenty four hours is non-refundable.

Yes. Additional stops along the route, whether at Channapatna, Srirangapatna or anywhere else, are entirely normal and your driver will accommodate them. Route additions that increase the total distance are billed at the per kilometre rate already agreed in your quote, so there is no renegotiation on the road. Larger changes, such as adding Coorg to a Mysore trip, are best confirmed with the office so the driver duty hours and any permits can be sorted out properly.
