•     48 to 72 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 10 percent of the total trip fare. Advance refunded less the 10 percent deduction.
•     24 to 48 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 25 percent of the total trip fare. Advance refunded less the 25 percent deduction.
•     12 to 24 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 50 percent of the total trip fare. Advance refunded less the 50 percent deduction.
•     Less than 12 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 75 percent of the total trip fare. Minimal or no refund depending on trip value.
•     No-show, where the bus is deployed and the group is absent. Charge of 100 percent of the total trip fare. No refund, and the full fare is payable.

Special Cancellation Conditions for Bangalore Mini Bus Hire
•     School, college and study tours. Minimum 72-hour notice for a full refund. Where an institution reschedules for academic reasons with 48 hours notice, the booking is transferred to a new date at no penalty rather than cancelled, subject to availability.
•     Multi-day outstation hire. Minimum 7-day notice for a full refund on overnight and multi-day mini bus hire from Bangalore.
•     Weddings. Minimum 7-day notice for a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days of the wedding date are non-refundable.
•     Peak dates. Dasara, Diwali, New Year and the August to November excursion season require a minimum 48-hour notice for a full refund.
•     Corporate contracts. Monthly corporate commute contract terms govern. Modifications with 48-hour notice are accommodated subject to route availability.
•     Force majeure. Bangalore bandhs, road closures and other force majeure events attract a 100 percent refund within 2 working days regardless of notice period.
•     Modifications. Date changes, vehicle upgrades and route additions with more than 24 hours notice are accommodated at no penalty, subject to availability.

At 215 kilometres each way on four-lane highway with no ghat section, a 5:00 AM departure puts a group at Halebidu by around 9:30 AM, covers the Hoysaleswara complex, the Jain basadis, Kedareshwara and the museum through the morning, then Belur after lunch, returning to Bangalore between 8:30 and 9:30 PM. It is a long day but an easy one to run.
Halebidu first. It is an ASI monument with no darshan queue, so arriving early costs you no waiting and the east-facing sculpture reads far better in morning light. Belur is an active worship temple where the queue builds through the morning and eases after midday. Most operators do it the other way round out of habit, and groups end up giving Halebidu ninety tired minutes in the afternoon, which is not enough for four monuments.
Four and a half to five hours each way including a breakfast halt, via NH75 through Nelamangala, Kunigal, Yediyur, Channarayapatna and Hirisave to Hassan, then the Hassan to Halebidu state highway for the final 31 kilometres. There is no ghat, no forest reserve with timing restrictions and no interstate checkpost anywhere on this route.
More than most itineraries allow. The Hoysaleswara temple alone deserves two hours. Add the Bastihalli Jain basadis, Kedareshwara and the archaeological museum and you have a full morning of three and a half to four hours in the village. Groups that budget ninety minutes see one monument and miss the three within walking distance of it.
No. Halebidu is in Hassan district and the entire drive stays within Karnataka, so there is no interstate permit, no border tax and no state entry formality. That removes a cost line and a common source of checkpost delay, and makes the total easier to forecast for an institutional or committee budget.

On school, college and study group bookings we provide a female attendant on request, a first-aid kit on board, GPS tracking the coordinator can share with parents, and driver background verification documents on file. Our drivers follow a fixed headcount protocol at every stop, which matters on this route because the Halebidu monuments are spread across several separate compounds.
Book one seat category above your headcount so luggage and legroom stay comfortable. Institutions rescheduling for academic reasons with 48 hours notice get the booking transferred rather than cancelled.
October to February is ideal. The temple platforms are open and unshaded and are entered barefoot, so the stone gets uncomfortably hot underfoot by midday in April and May. Morning light through the winter months is also the best you will get for photographing the wall friezes. Book three to four weeks ahead during the August to November excursion season and for winter long weekends, when mini coach availability tightens sharply.
