Special Cancellation Conditions

•      Interstate permits: once the Tamil Nadu and Kerala permits have been filed they are non-refundable, and those amounts are deducted separately from any refund otherwise due. Filing dates are stated on your confirmation.

•      Multi-day circuits: Kerala trips of four days or more need a minimum of 7 days notice for a full refund, since the vehicle is blocked for close to a week.

•      Houseboat and hotel cancellations are separate. Our terms cover the vehicle only. Houseboat operator and hotel policies are set by them and are usually stricter, particularly in peak season.

•      Peak dates including November to February, the Nehru Trophy weekend, Onam, Christmas and New Year: minimum 72 hours notice for a full refund.

•      Force majeure, including bandhs, Kerala monsoon flooding, landslides and road closures on the Ghats section: 100 per cent refund within 2 working days regardless of notice.

•      Modifications such as date change, vehicle upgrade or adding Munnar or Thekkady, with more than 48 hours notice: no penalty, subject to availability and permit revalidation.
