•      Less than 12 hours before departure - 75 per cent of the total trip fare. Minimal or no refund depending on trip value.

•      No-show, bus deployed and group absent - 100 per cent of the total trip fare. No refund, full fare payable.

•      Cancellation by Tejas Travels, breakdown or force majeure - no charge. 100 per cent refunded within 2 working days, or an alternate vehicle offered.

Special Cancellation Conditions

•      Safari and accommodation cancellations are separate. Our terms cover the vehicle only. Forest department and property policies are set by them and are often stricter, so check both before changing dates.

•      Forest department closures. If the reserve restricts entry or suspends safaris for monsoon conditions, wildlife movement or departmental reasons and you cancel as a result, we treat it as force majeure with a full refund within 2 working days.

•      Temple festival dates. Around the car festival, access and parking on the hill change substantially. Modifications made with more than 48 hours notice are accommodated without penalty.

•      College excursions: rescheduling with more than 48 hours notice is accommodated at no penalty, subject to fleet availability.

•      Multi-day outstation hire including BR Hills, Kabini and Nagarhole: minimum 72 hours notice for a full refund, as the vehicle is blocked for several days.

•      Modifications such as date change, vehicle upgrade or adding MM Hills or Shivanasamudra, with more than 24 hours notice: no penalty, subject to availability.
