Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy is tiered and is communicated in writing at booking confirmation. There are no hidden conditions.

•             More than 72 hours before departure: no charge, full advance refunded.

•             48 to 72 hours before departure: 10 percent of the total trip fare, with the advance refunded less that deduction.

•             24 to 48 hours before departure: 25 percent of the total trip fare, advance refunded less that deduction.

•             12 to 24 hours before departure: 50 percent of the total trip fare, advance refunded less that deduction.

•             Less than 12 hours before departure: 75 percent of the total trip fare. Refund minimal or nil depending on trip value.

•             No show, where the minibus is deployed and the group does not board: full fare payable, no refund.

•             Cancellation by Tejas Travels for breakdown or force majeure: no charge, full refund within two working days, or an alternate vehicle offered.

Additional conditions:

•             Multi day Hyderabad itineraries and wedding movements: minimum seven day notice for a full refund. Cancellations within three days of a wedding date are non refundable.

•             Peak dates including New Year, Diwali and long weekends: minimum 48 hour notice for a full refund.

•             Force majeure such as bandhs, road closures or highway disruption: full refund within two working days regardless of notice.

•             Modifications such as date change, vehicle upgrade or route addition with more than 24 hours notice: accommodated at no penalty, subject to availability.

Refund Policy

All refunds are processed to the original payment instrument. Cash refunds are issued only where the advance itself was paid in cash.

•             Refund amounts follow the cancellation tiers above: the advance is returned in full beyond 72 hours, and less the applicable 10, 25 or 50 percent charge within the shorter windows.

•             Processing runs five to seven working days for cancellations more than 24 hours out, and seven to ten working days for the 12 to 24 hour band.

•             Cancellation by Tejas Travels: 100 percent of the advance, within two working days on priority processing.

•             Trip shortfall where actual kilometres run below the minimum: proportional credit, settled at trip end.

•             Billing error, overcharge or duplicate payment: the full amount, within two to three working days of verification.

•             Timelines by method: UPI three to five working days, cards five to seven, bank transfer three to five, cash at our Bangalore office or by IMPS within five.
