Environmental Park and Mini Zoo
The Environmental Park on the hill has walking paths, gardens and a small zoo with animals such as deer and birds, making it a favourite with children. The shaded paths are pleasant for a morning or evening stroll.
Mallamma Temple
The hill's older name, Enugu Mallamma Konda, comes from the local legend of Mallamma, a kind-hearted woman who is said to have cared for an elephant and later came to be revered as a goddess. A small temple dedicated to her stands on the hill, and it remains an important local shrine.
Colonial Heritage and Horsley's Summer House
W. D. Horsley, a collector of the Cuddapah district, is credited with developing the hill as a summer retreat in the 19th century. The old colonial buildings, including the summer residence associated with him, give the hilltop a gentle old-world feel. Some are now part of the government-run tourism facilities.

Gurramkonda Fort
About 45 kilometres from Horsley Hills, Gurramkonda has a hill fort with a history linked to the Golconda rulers, Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. The Rangin Mahal, an ornate old building near the base, is a protected monument. It is a good half-day addition for history lovers.
Kaiwara
On the way from Bangalore, Kaiwara near Chintamani is associated with the saint-poet Kaiwara Sri Yogi Narayana Tatayya and holds the Amara Narayana temple and hill caves linked by local tradition to the Mahabharata. It is a pleasant detour on the way to or from Horsley Hills.

Chintamani is the "Gateway to Kaiwara", and the town is believed to take its name from Chintamani Rao, a Maratha chieftain linked to its history. It is a busy trading town for agricultural produce, including silk cocoons, vegetables and fruits. The temple town of Kaiwara, with its hill caves and the shrine of Yogi Narayana Tatayya, is about 15 kilometres away.
