5% GST is the standard rate for passenger road transport. Most individual and non-registered business customers use this rate.
If your company is GST-registered and wants to claim Input Tax Credit on the transport expense, request the 12% GST option at time of booking.
GST is calculated on the base fare (vehicle hire + driver allowance). Pass-through costs such as tolls, parking, and government permits are not subject to GST in Tejas Travels billing.
For outstation trips crossing state borders (Mysore to Ooty entering Tamil Nadu, Mysore to Wayanad entering Kerala), interstate road tax is a government levy — NOT a GST component.
All fares are one-way outstation (per km x distance), garage-to-garage. Round-trip rates apply for same-day returns. Driver allowance Rs 500-600/day billed separately.

We had hired an 12 seater(3939) from Bangalore to Mysore and Coorg. The vehicle conditions was good and mainly the Driver(Anil) we had a very brotherhood relationship with him and we will never forget him and this trip. We hired the 12 seater TT for 9 days (Coorg, Ooty & Kodaikanal) & It was a wonderful experience for us. The TT was maintained very well with decent interiors, LED's & cleanness. Best thing is the "PILOT Mr. Sathya" very friendly, helpful and very safe driver, his discipline towards time is great. The music system and LED's are well maintained. I recommended it for family and friends. The booking staff is also good and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Chethan for helping in booking. Its excellent trip with Mr. Sathya for 9 days. I think its best traveler service in Bangalore & Karnataka region.
