Mullayanagiri Peak
At about 1,930 metres, mullayanagiri is the highest peak in Karnataka. Nearby Hebbe Falls drops in two stages through dense forest and is reached by estate jeeps and a short walk. Combine these on the second day of your trip.
Hirekolale Lake
About ten kilometres from Chikmagalur town, Hirekolale Lake is framed by the Mullayanagiri range and is especially beautiful at sunset. It is an easy stop on the way back from the hills.
