● 48 to 72 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 10 per cent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less that 10 per cent deduction.
● 24 to 48 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 25 per cent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less that 25 per cent deduction.
● 12 to 24 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 50 per cent of the total trip fare. The advance is refunded less that 50 per cent deduction.
● Less than 12 hours before departure. Cancellation charge of 75 per cent of the total trip fare. Minimal or no refund, depending on the trip value.
● No show, where the vehicle has been deployed and the client is absent. Cancellation charge of 100 per cent of the total trip fare. No refund and the full fare is payable.
● Cancellation by Tejas Travels, for reasons such as breakdown or force majeure. No cancellation charge. 100 per cent refunded within 2 working days, or a substitute vehicle is offered.
Special cancellation conditions:
● Weddings. A minimum of 7 days notice is required for a full refund on wedding vehicle hire. Cancellations within 3 days of the wedding date are non refundable.
● Luxury and limited variants. A minimum of 5 days notice is required for a full refund on the 8 and 9 seater Urbania, because of limited fleet availability and wedding season demand.
● Medical travel. Where a hospital appointment is rescheduled or an admission changes your dates, contact us as early as you can and we will move the booking rather than cancel it wherever the fleet allows.
● Peak dates. For festival periods, long weekends, New Year and Diwali, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for a full refund. Less than 24 hours is non refundable.
● Multi day circuits. For pre booked multi day itineraries such as Vellore with Tirupati or Kanchipuram, a minimum of 5 days notice is required for a full refund.
● Force Majeure. For bandhs, road closures and heavy rain disruptions, 100 per cent is refunded within 2 working days regardless of the notice period.

It is a sixteen hour day, so it suits groups without very young children or frail members. One night is more comfortable and adds Yelagiri or Amirthi to the trip for the cost of a hotel.
Yes. On medical bookings the vehicle and driver stay with your group for the full duration rather than dropping and leaving, because hospital days do not run to a schedule. Tell us your appointment time and whether anyone has mobility needs so the vehicle is allocated accordingly. We handle the transport only; appointments, admissions and anything clinical are between you and the hospital.

Both are common. Tirupati is about three hours from Vellore across the Andhra border, which brings a second interstate permit into the quote, so tell us at enquiry rather than adding it on the road. Kanchipuram is seventy kilometres further down the same highway and needs no additional permit. A two night booking covering Vellore, Kanchipuram and either Tirupati or Pondicherry is the most efficient use of this corridor.
