Sri Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala

The Sri Venkateswara Temple, commonly called Tirupati Balaji Temple, is the most visited pilgrimage site in the world. Located atop the seven hills of Tirumala, this Dravidian-style temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu. The golden gopuram and the divine energy within the sanctum draw nearly one lakh devotees every single day. The temple's laddu prasadam is a geographical indication-tagged product that pilgrims carry home with great reverence. Chandragiri Fort

Chandragiri Fort

Built in the eleventh century, Chandragiri Fort is a majestic historical landmark located about 11 km from Tirupati city. The fort served as the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire in its later years and was the site where the British East India Company was granted its first land deed. Visitors can explore the Raja Mahal and Rani Mahal within the fort complex, both of which feature impressive Indo-Saracenic architecture. The fort also has a small museum that displays coins, weapons, and inscriptions from the Vijayanagara period. The panoramic view of the surrounding plains from the ramparts is spectacular. A sound and light show conducted in the evenings brings the fort's history to life and is highly recommended for history enthusiasts.

Sri Venkateswara National Park

Sri Venkateswara National Park

Spanning 353 square kilometres in the Eastern Ghats, Sri Venkateswara National Park is a designated biosphere reserve and a paradise for wildlife and nature lovers. The park is home to over 175 species of birds, including the Indian grey hornbill and the white-rumped vulture. Mammals such as leopards, sloth bears, and Indian pangolins inhabit the dense forests. Talakona Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh at 270 feet, is situated within the park boundaries and is one of the most photographed natural sites in the region. The forest department organises guided trekking trails inside the park, and the experience of walking through ancient Gondwana forests at dawn is unmatched. Families with children will find the park particularly engaging.

Kapila Theertham

Kapila Theertham

Kapila Theertham is a scenic waterfall temple complex situated at the foot of the Tirumala Hills and dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form as Kapileswara. The waterfall flows directly into the temple complex, creating a unique and spiritually charged environment where devotees can bathe in the holy waters. The surrounding dense forest of the Tirumala Hills provides a cool, refreshing backdrop, making this one of the most serene sightseeing places in Tirupati. The temple is associated with the sage Kapila Muni and is believed to be one of the 108 Divya Desams. The sound of flowing water combined with the fragrance of temple flowers and incense creates an atmosphere unlike any other religious site in the region.

Silathoranam - Natural Stone Arch

Silathoranam - Natural Stone Arch

Silathoranam is one of the rarest natural geological wonders on Earth — a natural rock arch formed over 1.5 billion years ago during the pre-Cambrian era. Located near the Tirumala temple complex, this formation is 8 metres wide and 3 metres high and bears a striking resemblance to the hood of a serpent along with sacred symbols of a conch and discus. Geologists regard Silathoranam as one of only three known natural arches of its kind in the world. Religious belief holds that this rock arch was the original source of the deity at the Venkateswara Temple. Visiting at sunrise or sunset enhances the visual impact of the arch, which glows golden against the Eastern Ghats skyline.

Papavinasanam Dam

Papavinasanam Dam

Papavinasanam Dam is a reservoir situated deep inside the Tirumala Hills at an altitude of approximately 853 metres above sea level. The name translates to "the destroyer of sins," and pilgrims believe that bathing in these waters cleanses them of past misdeeds. The reservoir is fed by natural springs enriched with medicinal herbs, and the water quality is remarkably clean. The surrounding landscape of lush forest and rocky hillsides makes Papavinasanam a favourite picnic spot for families visiting Tirupati. The walk from the Tirumala bus stand to the dam passes through shaded forest paths and is a refreshing way to spend a morning. Photography enthusiasts will find the reflection of the hills on the still water surface particularly rewarding.

ISKCON Temple, Tirupati

ISKCON Temple, Tirupati

The ISKCON temple in Tirupati, dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha, is a vibrant spiritual and cultural centre that welcomes devotees and tourists alike. The temple complex is beautifully constructed in a blend of Dravidian and North Indian architectural styles and is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The daily aarti ceremonies, bhajan sessions, and prasadam distribution make a visit here a deeply fulfilling experience. The temple also runs educational programmes and an organic farm. Located within the main town area, the ISKCON temple provides a calm counterpoint to the bustle of the Tirumala pilgrimage and is especially popular with families who visit Tirupati with young children.

TTD Gardens

TTD Gardens

The TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Gardens are a group of beautifully maintained ornamental, flower, and landscape gardens spread across approximately 460 acres on the Tirumala Hills. These gardens supply nearly 500 kilograms of flowers to the temples in and around Tirupati every single day. Visitors can walk through rose gardens, herbal sections, and topiary displays that are meticulously maintained by the TTD horticulture department. The gardens offer a peaceful respite from the crowds near the main temple and are ideal for a quiet walk at dawn or dusk. Believed to have been started by the legendary Vaishnava saints Sri Ramanuja and Sri Anandalwar, the gardens carry both botanical and historical significance.

Urbania Packages for the Bangalore to Tirupati Route

Four package structures cover almost every group on this route, all including the vehicle, fuel and a trained chauffeur, quoted garage to garage in writing.

Family Pilgrimage Package

The most booked configuration on this corridor. Eight to thirteen seater Urbania for a family travelling with parents or grandparents, planned around a pre-dawn departure, a Chittoor breakfast halt and a darshan slot you have secured. The chauffeur handles the Alipiri check and paces the ghat climb properly. Standing headroom, a low step-in and full recliners are what matter across a fourteen-hour day.

Senior and Same-Day Package

For groups doing Tirupati and back in a single day, as a large share of Bangalore pilgrims do. Departure between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, darshan through the morning, home the same night. Full recliners make the outbound leg sleepable and the return bearable. We plan backwards from your darshan slot with buffer for the queue.

Corporate and Group Package

For company-organised pilgrimages, employee welfare groups and association bookings. Twelve or thirteen seater Urbania with GST invoicing, a proforma invoice for purchase-order approval and GPS visibility for the organiser. Multi-vehicle coordination where the group exceeds sixteen, since a single bus cannot make the climb. Thirty-day credit terms for registered accounts — see our corporate travels bangalore service.

Luxury Package

For families who want the journey itself to be effortless, and for relatives visiting from abroad making the pilgrimage for the first time. Ambient LED lighting, HD LCD entertainment and a chauffeur in formal attire, in whichever variant suits the group. Often extended into a two-day itinerary taking in Tiruchanur and Chandragiri. See the full force urbania rent bangalore fleet.

How to Book a Force Urbania in Bangalore

Booking a Force Urbania in Bangalore takes under five minutes. Follow these four steps.

Step 1: Contact Tejas Travels

●        Call or WhatsApp +91 9980277773, or email info@tejastravels.com — available 24 hours.

●        Share your travel date, pickup location, group size and variant: 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 or 16 seater.

●        Tell us your darshan slot time if you already have it, so the departure can be planned backwards from it.

●        Mention if anyone is elderly or has limited mobility, so the chauffeur plans drop points and halts accordingly.

Step 2: Receive Your Written Quote

●        Within 2 hours of your enquiry we send a written quote by WhatsApp or email.

●        It itemises every charge: hire rate, driver allowance, tolls, the Andhra Pradesh permit and the Alipiri toll at actuals.

●        No verbal-only pricing — everything is in writing before you confirm.

●        For corporate and association bookings, a proforma invoice can be issued at this stage for purchase-order approval.

●        To compare the 13-seater against the 15-seater, or a tempo traveller against the Urbania, request both quotes together.

Step 3: Confirm Your Booking and Pay Advance

●        Review the written quote and confirm by WhatsApp or phone.

●        A 20 per cent advance of the total fare confirms the booking and guarantees the specific Urbania variant on your date.

●        On confirmation we arrange the Andhra Pradesh permit and reconfirm the current ghat road timings for your date.

●        Pay by UPI, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS or card. Advance receipt within 30 minutes.

●        Confirmation includes chauffeur name and mobile, vehicle registration, departure time and the billing breakdown, all in writing.

Step 4: Your Chauffeur and Urbania Arrive Early

●        Your chauffeur reaches the pickup point 15 minutes before departure, including on a 3 am start.

●        The Urbania is deep-cleaned, fuelled and ready, and the chauffeur calls 30 minutes before arrival.

●        He carries the permit papers and handles the Alipiri security check and token.

●        On the ghat road he paces the climb to the enforced minimum time, so there is no speeding penalty.

●        At trip end the balance is settled after the advance; extra kilometres or hours are billed at the pre-agreed rate.

Quick booking: WhatsApp +91 9980277773 with your pickup location, group size, darshan date and slot. Written quote in 2 hours.

Payment Methods

We accept all major payment methods. Given the limited fleet, the advance secures your specific variant and date.

●        UPI: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI. Fastest method, instant confirmation, recommended for advances.

●        Bank transfer: NEFT, IMPS, RTGS. For corporate clients and advances above Rs 10,000. IMPS instant, NEFT up to 2 hours.

●        Credit or debit card: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay via payment link. Valid for advance and full payment.

●        Net banking: All major Indian banks, link sent by WhatsApp or email.

●        Cash: Balance accepted at trip end with receipt. The advance must be digital for booking confirmation.

●        Corporate credit: 30-day terms for registered accounts, invoice within 24 hours of trip completion.

Fleet note: the Urbania fleet is small compared with standard tempo travellers and books out well in advance around Brahmotsavam, weekends and the December to January period.

Frequently Asked Questions - Bangalore to Tirupati Urbania

Yes. Full-size private buses are not permitted up and must park at Alipiri while passengers transfer to the TTD shuttle, but vehicles within the smaller seating limit go all the way to Tirumala. The entire Urbania range falls inside that limit, so your group stays in one vehicle from Bangalore to the temple. For families with elderly relatives this is usually the deciding factor.

Approximately 250 km on NH75 via Kolar, Mulbagal, Palamaner and Chittoor, taking 4.5 to 5.5 hours to Tirupati city including one halt. Add at least 40 minutes for the 18 km ghat road climb to Tirumala, which is an enforced minimum rather than an estimate.

Ascent and descent are separate one-way roads. Every vehicle passes a security check and toll at Alipiri and receives a timestamped token, scanned at the top and on exit. A minimum journey time is enforced and arriving too quickly is penalised as speeding. The road closes to four-wheelers during the small hours, with timings varying by season and festival. Non-vegetarian food, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited and Tirumala is plastic-free.

Garage to garage with fuel included: Rs 40 per km, driver allowance is Rs 700 per day, with tolls, permit and Alipiri toll at actuals. Because the fare is on actual kilometres run, totals are confirmed in writing before any advance.

No. Darshan slots, special entry darshan and TTD accommodation are booked by you directly through official TTD channels and refunded under their rules, not ours. What we do is plan the departure backwards from the slot you have secured, including the enforced ghat road time, so you arrive with margin.

Yes, and most Bangalore groups do. A departure between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, darshan through the morning, home the same night. It is a long day, which is precisely why full recliners matter here. Build several hours of buffer for the queue, since time inside the complex is unpredictable.

The 8 to 13 seater range. The 8 to 10 seater uses a 1/1 layout where every passenger has a window seat; the 12 or 13 seater is the reference family choice. All variants have the extra-high roof and low step-in that ease repeated boarding. Tell us at booking if anyone has limited mobility.

One. An Andhra Pradesh interstate permit for the Karnataka-registered vehicle, checked near the Palamaner border. We arrange it and quote it upfront alongside tolls and the Alipiri vehicle toll. Nothing is required from passengers.

More than 72 hours ahead: no charge, full advance refunded in 5 to 7 working days. Between 48 and 72 hours the charge is 10 per cent, 24 to 48 hours 25 per cent, 12 to 24 hours 50 per cent, under 12 hours 75 per cent. If TTD reschedules your slot, date changes with over 24 hours notice are accommodated at no penalty. Ghat road closures ordered by TTD count as force majeure with a full refund.

No. Tejas Tours and Travels does not cover passengers insurance by the company. Our vehicles carry the statutory commercial vehicle insurance required under Indian motor law, chauffeurs are police verified and PSV licensed, and the fleet is serviced at authorised Force Motors centres. Groups wanting personal accident cover should arrange it separately.
