Kudremukh Peak Trek
The kudremukh trek starts near Mullodi village and covers roughly 20 to 22 kilometres up and down, through shola forest, open grassland and several stream crossings. It is rated moderate and takes most groups seven to nine hours. Permits must be booked online in advance on the Aranya Vihaara portal, a registered local guide is compulsory, daily numbers are capped and camping inside the park is not allowed. Kudremukh National Park
Kudremukh national park protects one of the largest stretches of tropical wet evergreen forest in the Western Ghats. Hanuman Gundi Falls

Lakya Dam
Lakya Dam was built by the Kudremukh Iron Ore Company to hold mining tailings, and the reservoir is now framed by green hills. Entry to the dam area may be restricted, so view it from permitted points.
Kurinjal and Netravati Peak Treks
For trekkers who want something different, Kurinjal Peak offers a shorter climb with sweeping grassland views, while Netravati Peak, approached from the Samse side, is known for its dramatic ridgeline.
