Day 1: ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) Temple The spectacular spiritual complex referred to as Sri Radha Krishnachandra Temple features a gold plated 56 feet high flag post or dhwaja stambha and 28 feet high gold plated Kalash Shikara. An intriguing temple built using a glass and wooden exteriors adds to the charm of the sacred complex. Notable features of the auspicious temple are the Vedic museum and a theatre that shows Vedic films.

Bangalore Palace
Day 1: Bangalore Palace, An epitome of great architecture and beauty, The Majestic Bangalore Palace preserves in it the spice of old regal luxuriousness. Vidhana Soudha
Day 1: Vidhana Soudha, It is the seat of General Assembly of Karnataka state. It as an enforcing building, constructed completely out of granite. Vidhana Soudha is decorated with 4 domes on its four corners. The entrance of the building is the Four-Headed Lions. The place is just 3 kilometer (km) from Majestic bus stand or City Railway station. The places can be accessed from all four directions. The best time to visit the place is Saturday’s or Sunday’s evening before 6 to 7 PM and public holidays. The lights are kept on from 6 to 8:30 PM in the evening. A sightseeing tour of Bangalore is incomplete without a visit to the Vidhana Soudha.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden
Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Garden, is located in Bangalore and is a nationally and internationally renowned center for botanical artwork, the scientific study of plants and also conservation of plants. A haven for all nature lovers, Lal Bagh covers an area 240 acres in the heart of the city and has nearly 1,854 species of plants. It was commissioned by Hyder Ali in 1760 and completed by his son Tipu Sultan. The garden features rare plants of French, Persian and Afghani origin and has attained the status of a Government Botanical Garden. The Lal Bagh Rock which is over 3000 million years old is found here and is a major tourist attraction.

Agumbe

Day 2: Agumbe is located on a mountain pass that connects the plains of Karnataka with the coastal region, Agumbe is covered with verdant forests, sparkling streams and little cascades, making the region in the Western Ghats virtually a Garden of Eden. It receives an average rainfall of about 8000 mm and thus called “Cherrapunji of South India”. The view of the Sun setting into the Arabian Sea from Agumbe is not to be missed as it offers a clear line of sight of about 40 km. The world-famous herpetologist Romulus Whitaker has set up a tropical research station called the Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS) to study the endangered King Cobra species, which is also a major attraction.

Jogigundi Falls
Day 2: Jogigundi Falls, the waterfall is located around three km from Agumbe. Situated on the way to the Barkana Falls, it can be reached on foot after a 10 to 15 minute trek. The waterfall is different from other waterfalls in the region as it flows out of a cave. You will be greeted by the natural swimming pool. The falls derives its name from the word Jogi, as it is believed that a Jogi or saint meditated inside the cave near the falls.

Agumbe Rainforest Research Station
Day 2: Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS), is a field-based conservation and research organization located in Agumbe, Karnataka. Situated inside the Agumbe Reserved Forest, it is one of the best places to visit in Agumbe. The research station has a micro-hydroelectric unit that helps in maintaining its eco-friendly policy and operates on solar power. King cobra, the longest venomous snake in the world, inhabits the forest area of Agumbe.

Agumbe Ghat
Day 2: Agumbe Ghat and Sunset View Point, is one of the highest peaks of the Western Ghats offering a bewitching view of the setting sun on the horizon of the Arabian Sea. This point is situated at the 14th hairpin bend of the Ghat road that leads to Agumbe and attracts many tourists every year. One can have a splendid view of the setting sun along with some panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and even the Arabian Sea on a clear day. The color of the sun as it slips into the sea looks amazingly beautiful from Sunset Point. The sunset viewpoint is usually crowded. During monsoon, it gets quite cloudy but there are many picturesque locations around the place.
