The temple at the top completes a trio with the shrines in the village below. Amrutha Sarovara, the lake of nectar, is a spring-fed tank on the hilltop that still supplies water locally and draws birds through the morning. A short walk away is Brahmashram, a small cave hermitage associated with the sage Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Both take fifteen minutes and both are quiet once the sunrise crowd has left.
