Environmental Park and Zoo: The Park is built by Venkata Subba Rao who is a popular environmentalist of Hyderabad and made great contribution to the ecosystem and simultaneously educated people about the importance of environment. The lush park is a mini-ecosystem in itself, complete with trees, coffee plants, a crocodile enclosure, a mini-zoo, Lake Mansarovar and a nature study centre. The study centre has a museum and also an AV room where one can watch videos on wildlife, apart from a library.

2. Mallamma Temple

Mallamma Temple: It is an ancient temple situated at a distance of just 350 meter from the Horsley Hills bus stand. This temple is dedicated to the Goddess Malamma- the deity after whom this town was named initially. The initial name of Horsley Hills was Yenugu Mallamma Konda. According to the legend, a saintly lady called Mallamma lived on the hills and cured the tribal people. It is believed that the elephants used to bring food for her. One day she suddenly disappeared and the local people started believing her to be a Goddess and built this temple for her. Every year devotees who believe in the power of Goddess Mallamma visit this temple to seek the blessings of the deity.

3. Horsley Hills View Point

Horsley Hills View Point: Horsley Hills was initially known as Yenugu Mallama Konda after a young girl who, it is said, was reared by elephants and cured the ailments of the area’s residents. One day she disappeared and ever since then, the people began worshipping her as a goddess. A temple stands in her honour atop the hill. Horsley hill is locally known as “Enugu Mallamma Konda”, is a famous tourist spot for the nature lover – trekking, bird watching or just leisurely walks in the lap of virgin nature, amidst rich flora and fauna. On the western side of the hills is a large rocky slope which descends gently. This is known as the Horsley Hills Viewpoint. There are a few benches here for visitors to enjoy the vistas and the strong breeze. The hilly outcrop rises steeply to altitudes of 4312 meter, which ensures cool climes throughout the year and misty vistas in the monsoons.
