Bandipur

Bandipur National Park, The Park is suited in Chamarajanagar district on the border of Karnataka - Tamil Nadu between Mysore & Ooty. Bandipur is one of the best places to visit as part of your wildlife tour in India. Jeep Safari, Mini Bus Safari is fixed up by the forest department. The best time to visit Bandipur National Park is from June to October.

Apart from this, they also allow third-party safari jeeps with special permission, but only during the stipulated Bandipur forest safari timings (which are from 6 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM).
Kabini River Boat Safari
Day 2: Kabini River Boat Safari, One of the most amazing attractions at Bandipur can be a boat ride. Flanked by the Kabini River in the north and the Moyar/Mayar River in the south, the forest can offer visitors an alluring view of the sunrise and sunset, along with lots of lush greenery. Also, you can enjoy watching the wild elephants and deer’s quench their thirst in groups around the rivers.
Best Time to Visit in Bandipur Forest:
The best time to visit the Bandipur is between October to March. It’s that time of the year when the flora is blooming, the temperature and weather stay pleasant for you to travel through the road, and even the animals find it comfortable to roam freely.
Day 3
Chamundeshwari Temple

Day 3:Chamundeshwari Temple, Chamundi “Betta” in Kannada which means “Hills”. This well-known temple is located in the Top of the main Hill of Mysore city. It takes 3-1/2 hours (153 kms) to reach from Bangalore and about 13 kms from city of Mysuru. The goddess Chamundi is also called Mahishasura Mardini.
Timings: 7:30 AM - 2 PM, 3.30 - 6 PM & 7:30 - 9 PM.

Mysore Palace
Day 3:Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas) is the primal part of Mysore attractions. The historic palace is situated in the center of the city and it was built on 14th century by the Wodeyar kings. The gaffers are made of silver, marble and gold materials. The walls along the corridors are designed with oil paintings of royal themes.
Timings: 10 AM - 5:30 PM on all days. The palace is lightened up on Sundays, national holidays from 7 - 8 PM.

Railway Museum
Day 3:Railway Museum, The museum households a large collection of different models of trains ran by India Railways throughout the history. It has several photographs and memorable moments in the development of railways. A mini train functioned by battery takes the visitors out for a joy ride on the museum.

Kukkarahalli Lake
Day 3:Kukkarahalli Lake, The Lake is situated in the heart of the Mysore City and lies in the vicinity of the University of Mysore. Birndavan Gardens
Day 3:Birndavan Gardens or KRS Dam, The calm decorated gardens are placed below the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) dam and are a popular hangout spot lighted in the evenings. The musical springs and colourful lights act this place into an interesting fairyland in the evenings. The distance between Mysore to KRS is only 12 kms and 148 kms from Bangalore, Karnataka.

Nimishambha Temple

Day 4:Nimishambha Temple, Located on the banks of the River Kaveri, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Nimishambha, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. The carvings on the temple tower are exquisite and are the main attraction here along with the idols of other Gods and Goddesses like Ganesha, Hanuman, Lakshmi and Saraswati.

Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace
Day 4:Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, also known as Dariya Daulat Bagh, meaning “wealth of the sea” has been captivating visitors since long. This palace, which used to be the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan, was often called as the ‘Abode of Happiness’ and ‘Envy of Heaven’ by the constructor himself. Built on a raised stone platform, with pillars of teak and artistic interiors, this palace is one of the most interesting places to see on a Mysore tour.

The Gumbaz
Day 4:The Gumbaz, or the burial chamber of Tipu Sultan and his parents is one of the most prominent structures of the city, with doors crafted from ivory, sprawling corridors and walls with tiger stripes, said to be a favorite of Mysore's very own tiger, a mosque and a beautifully laid out garden.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
Day 4:Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, the temple built in the Dravidan style of architecture. There are three more temples in three other sides of the island. Sri Ranganathaswamy here is also referred to as "Madya Ranga", who is highly revered by Sri Vyshanava devotees among others. "Adi Ranga" at Srirangapattana and "Anthya Ranga" at Srirangam, Tamilnadu are two other prominent forms of Sri Ranganatha Swamy. Kaveri touches Srirangapattana first, next Shivanasamudra in the middle and finally reaches the sea at Srirangam. Among all the three, the deity here is believed to represent the youth form of the God and hence is also lovingly referred to as 'Mohana Ranga' and 'Jaganmohana Ranga'.
