1. Bannerghatta Biological Park

Bannerghatta Biological Park, Located 22 km away from Bangalore, the park is covered over a massive area of around 104.27 square km. This national park was established in the year 1971 and itself has a number of constitutions within its confines, which includes the country's first butterfly park as well. Other attractions here are ten Reserve Forests of Anekal Range of the Bangalore Forest Division, an aquarium, a Zoo, Children's park, Crocodile Farm, Snake Park, Prehistoric Animals' Park, Jungle safari and a museum.

2. Mysore Zoo

Mysore Zoo (Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens), it is one of the oldest, very popular and attractive zoological garden founded in the year of 1892. The zoo is located near to palace. The palace zoo is home for various wild animals like White Tiger, Lions, Elephants, Leopard, White rhinoceros, Anacondas, Giraffes, Zebras, Baboons, etc., The best time to visit the zoo early morning where the entire surrounding is silent and fresh. 3. Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 0.67 sq. km and located on the banks of River Cauvery. This bird paradise is the preferred nesting ground for several species of resident birds. Go boating on the river, get a fascinating view of the various species of birds, and catch a glimpse of the marsh crocodiles in the waters.

Birds: Around 170 different species of birds have been recorded from Ranganathittu. Most commonly seen birds have Painted Stork, Kingfishers, Cormorants, Darter, Herons, River Tern, Egrets, Indian Roller, Blackheaded Ibis, Spoonbill, Great Stone Plover, and Spot-billed Pelicans.

Nagarhole National Park and Tiger Reserve, also referred as Rajiv Gandhi National Park is the enchanting 247 square-mile long wild reserve located in Kodagu and Mysore district of Karnataka. Attracted with thick forest cover at the west of the Kabini River, the Nagarhole National Park is counted among the well-maintained national parks in India. Nagarhole is situated to the north-west of Bandipur National Park which are separated by Kabini reservoir. Inside the park coracle boat riding facility is available in Kabini River. The best time to visit Nagarhole National Park is Nov-May, especially Apr and May.

5. Nagarhole Wildlife Safari
