Belur Chennakeshava Temple
Belur Chennakeshava Temple, Belur is well known for Chennakeshava temple which was a capital during Hoysala kingdom for a short duration. This placed is situated in Hassan district of Karnataka in India. The Channakeshava temple is one of the finest built using soft soapstone during Hoysala period. The beauty of this temple is inside as there are 48 pillars carved in different designs. Belur was also called as Velapuri during Hoysala period.

Hoysaleshwara Temple
Hoysaleshwara Temple, this place is located in Hassan district of Karnataka - India. Halebeed was once known as Dwarasamudra and capital of Hoysala Empire during 12th and 13th centuries. This place attracts visitors from all part of the world for the famous Hoysaleswara and Kedareshwara temples. Hoysaleshwara temple has the deities of Lord Hoysaleswara and Lord Shantaleshwara. Kedareshwara temple has been decorated with sculptures and panels in Hoysala style.

Kedareshwar Temple
Kedareshwar Temple, is a fine example of Hoysala style of temple architecture. The carved ceilings of the temple are supported by finely polished pillars. The magnificent idol of Nandi Vahana in its lying posture adds extra elegance to the temple. Unfortunately portions of the temple collapsed and they are never restored again.

Ayyanakere Lake
Ayyanakere Lake, The 2nd biggest lake in Karnataka. After you have watched the sunrise at Mullayanagiri peak and descended to Chikamagalur, you should visit the lake in the evening to relax and watch the sunset. Z Point
Kemmanagundi, The unsaid beauty of Kemmanagundi located in the Chikkamagaluru district of the Karnataka state, India. It is also called Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station as the king after whom Kemmangundi is named used this place as his summer retreat. This hill station is ringed by the Babu Budan Giri Hills which has the highest peak in the Karnataka state. The word Kemmanagundi is a combination of 3 different words of the Kannada language i.e. Kempu, mannu and gundi, meaning red, soil and pit respectively. In short, it means the place with red soil which is rightly applicable to the area. The best time to visit this hill station is from the months of August to February.
