The airport is a little over 35 km from central Bangalore. Even a straight run to MG Road or Indiranagar is a long drive by city standards. Operators usually price it in one of two ways: a flat package (fixed hours and kilometres for one price) or a per-km rate with a minimum.

For central areas, the 4-hour / 40 km package is usually the right fit. If your home or hotel is farther out, you can cross 40 km, and that's where extras show up. On a Dzire that's ₹14 per extra km and ₹150 per extra hour, so ten extra kilometres add ₹140.

The package price includes the driver and fuel, and the driver waits if your flight runs late. Tolls and parking are billed at actuals. If your trip starts after 10 PM, the night charge is told to you at booking and stays fixed.

• A written quote arrives within about two hours, with the rate, driver allowance and expected tolls itemised.

• Confirm with a 15 to 20 percent advance by UPI, bank transfer or card link.

• About 12 hours before pickup, you get your driver's name, number and the vehicle registration.

A few things that save money and trouble

• Departures between 4 AM and 7 AM are the busiest window. Book 24 to 48 hours ahead so your preferred car is free.

• Tell us your terminal. The airport has two, and it saves your driver a call.

• Ask what the quote assumes about tolls, and whether your pickup is beyond 40 km.

• If your luggage is borderline, pick the bigger car. A cramped four-hour ride is a bad trade for saving a few hundred rupees.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

 The driver tracks your flight number and shifts his arrival. Reasonable delays carry no extra charge. For delays of three hours or more, our team messages you on WhatsApp to sort out the driver's schedule.

Will the fare go up at 2 AM or on a weekend?

 No. The rate is fixed when you book. Night charges for trips starting after 10 PM are told to you upfront and don't move with demand.

Can I book just a one-way drop to the airport?

 Yes, from anywhere in Bangalore. Book at least a day or two ahead, particularly for early-morning departures.

Can I add Mysore or Coorg to my airport pickup?

 Yes. Mention it when you book, and we'll quote the airport pickup and the outstation run as one trip.

How many bags fit in a Dzire?

 About two medium suitcases comfortably, plus smaller bags. For more luggage than that, the Innova is the better choice.
