On the western coast of India is Goa, a former colony of Portugal that blends Indian culture with compound influences and plenty of international tourism. Goa is famous largely due to its outstanding beaches. The most engaged and very famous of all is Candolim Beach, where tourists from around the world flock to soak up the sun. Anjuna Beach is far less crowded. It is also an amazing place where you can walk to Chapora Fort and look up at the sandy coastline from a new perspective. Goa is not just about Baga, Calangute, Tito’s, and Mambo. There is another side to the party capital of our country that you must explore and it’s down south.
There are many places to visit in South Goa that are not just restricted to beaches but there are other areas full of vim and vigor that a true traveler must explore. While North Goa has a reputation for being a party place, South Goa is known for its clean and isolated beaches, shrines, scenic drives, and tranquil environment. Goa is broadly inspired by beach lovers, and recreational activities are plentiful for those eager for some fun in the sun.
